Experienced professionals in coaching and outplacement

James F. Fitzgerald, CPA, Principal

Mr. Fitzgerald has developed an enviable reputation in the field of transition consulting and executive coaching.  His business acumen was forged in public accounting as a consultant, eventually moving into a Manager’s role in Human Resources.

After leaving PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Jim was one of the founders of a successful executive search and outplacement firm.  He later narrowed his focus to executive transition consulting and executive coaching.  His reputation led Right Associates to recruit him to be the Managing Principal of the Chicago operations.  Right Associates was an international leader in the field of outplacement and coaching.

After managing the Chicago office successfully for several years, Mr. Fitzgerald desired to get back to working one on one with executives.  He left Right Associates in 1996  to establish James F. Fitzgerald & Associates. Today, the Firm provides executive coaching and outplacement counseling to Fortune 500 companies as well as a diverse array of privately held entities.

Mr. Fitzgerald has published over 150 articles on career management, leadership and the job search process.  His work appears in numerous industry publications as well as a nationally available newspaper.
